Genevieve A. Garvin (Ferrara) age 82 of Plymouth, formerly of Milton passed away May 9th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lawrence, she was raised in Roxbury and Milton and graduated Milton High School and Curry College School of Nursing in 1975. She worked as a Registered Nurse and Administrator at Boston City Hospital before retiring in 1989 and was a member of the American Nurses Assn. Genevieve lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family, playing cards, knitting, travelling the world, going to the opera and theatre. Beloved wife of Carl. Mother of Catherine A. Fillman and her husband Donald of Sandwich, C.J. Garvin and his wife Deborah of FL, Jack L. Garvin of Wrentham and Keith G. Garvin of FL. Grandmother of Caitlin A. G. Lally and her fiance Pat, Chelsea, Anna, David, Jake, and Andy Garvin, Brian Fillman and his wife Jennifer and Betty Jean Williford and her husband Gary. Great-grandmother of Wyatt, Anna and Ben Fillman. Beloved daughter of the late Jack and Anna Ferrara. Sister of Jack S. Ferrara of FL. Also survived by her four legged friend, Primo. Funeral mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Monday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Sunday 3-7 pm.
