FRAMINGHAM: Katherine Ann “Katy” Flagg, age 37, of Framingham, a former longtime Natick resident, died on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Tufts New England Medical Center. Her husband, Raymond J. Bull, has long admired her fierce spirit and joy for life.
Born, raised and educated in Natick, she was the only child of the late Alan H. and Janice M. (Vernon) Flagg. After graduating from Natick High School, Katy continued her education, earning both her undergraduate and Master’s Degrees from Boston University.
Katy was employed for several years with the Bose Corporation in their marketing area. In 2009, she accepted a position with PTC of Needham, where she honed her expertise as a marketing analyst. A martial arts enthusiast, quilter, and great cook, Katy will most be remembered for her warm outgoing personality and never failing sense of humor.
She is survived by Raymond, whom she married on September 16, 2014; an aunt, Susan Kohlback and her husband Clint of Needham; three cousins, Judy Jerosky, Lee Ann Flagg-Goodwin, and Thu Le Flagg; her mother-in-law, Roz Bull of Lowell; and a brother-in-law, Alec Bull of Haverhill. In addition to her parents, Katy was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Raymond R. A. Bull.
Her Funeral Service will be held in Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, 39 East Central Street, Natick, on Saturday, May 13th at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton.
Visiting hours will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Friday, 4 – 7PM. Donations may be made in Katy’s memory to the Gift of Life Marrow Registry (www.giftoflife.org/contib).
