Vicki L. (Maxwell) Frechette, 57, of Worcester and formerly of Medway, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Born in Somerville on December 21, 1959, she was the daughter of Margaret M. (Lynch) Maxwell of Bellingham and the late Loring D. Maxwell.
Vicki grew up in Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1977. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Pulmonary Science from Daytona Beach Community College and worked as a respiratory therapist. She enjoyed painting, listening to music and cared deeply about others.
Besides her mother, Vicki is survived by a son, Jonathan Frechette, and his wife Colleen of New Bern, North Carolina; a daughter, Jolie Frechette, and her partner Matt Sjoblom of Essex Junction, Vermont; and three grandchildren, Jackson and Cadence Frechette and Margot Sjoblom. She is predeceased by her son, Michael Frechette.
She is also survived by a sister, Wendy Ballou, and her husband Richard of Northbridge; two brothers, Steven Maxwell and his wife Nancy of Medway, and Michael Maxwell and his wife Karen of Medway; and many nieces and nephews.
At the request of Vicki’s family, a private graveside service will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Medway.
In lieu of flowers, Vicki’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to Community Healthlink HOAP.
