Joyce (Heath) Cervone of Lexington died on Friday, May 5. Born and raised in East Conway, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Esther (Baker) Heath.
Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Cervone, and the devoted mother of Richard Cervone and his wife Vanessa of Lexington, and David Cervone and his wife Jana of Woodstock, Georgia. She was the loving grandmother of Ryan, Christopher, Matthew, Cora and Michael Cervone. Joyce was predeceased by her siblings Nancy Antonucci, Maureen English, Mary Sawyer, Clayton and Paul Heath. She was the sister-in-law of Ron Antonucci and Helen Heath, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Upon graduating high school, Joyce moved to Boston where she met her husband Joseph. After living in the Boston area for a time, she and her husband moved south and raised their family in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In retirement, they spent many wonderful summers in Meredith, New Hampshire. Joyce enjoyed going for long walks, spending time with her close family and watching her grandchildren’s baseball games.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, May 11, at 11 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9:30 - 11 AM in the funeral home. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
