BIDDEFORD- Tammy Spencer, age 51, passed away on May 5, 2017 at the Gosnell Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Biddeford, Maine November 30, 1965 a daughter of Lorraine Leclair and David Vaughan.
Tammy graduated from Thornton Academy in 1984, then worked on the financial side of healthcare for almost 30 years.
Tammy graduated from Southern Maine Community College with a degree in liberal arts and intentions of pursuing her medical assistant degree.
Tammy loved horseback riding, reading, scary movies, Halloween was her favorite day to celebrate, she loved her dogs and all animals, and donated time to volunteering with the elderly. Tammy mostly loved spending time with her family and friends, and she considered her friends part of her family.
She is predeceased by her grandfather, Frank Raychard Jr. and her grandmother, Evelyn Raychard both of whom raised her.
She is survived by her husband Shaun Spencer; her daughter Brooke Audie of Biddeford
Her sisters Donna Masi of Biddeford, Tracy Harvey of Oklahoma and her brother Darin Vaughan of Florida; and father-in-law Peter Spencer.
Two nephews, James, and Joey, and four nieces, Taylor, Kira, Olivia, and Sophia.
A celebration of life will be held May 20th at 4 PM at 43 Oak Ridge Road, Biddeford.
