Obituary

Laconia--- George G. Bousquet Sr., 85, of Pleasant Street, died on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at the Golden View Health Center Meredith.

George was a long time resident of Laconia, born on January 27, 1932 in Somersworth to the late Merilda (Plante) and Albert Bousquet Sr. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Army.

George worked for many business including NH Ball Bearing, Scott and Williams, Laconia Shoe factory and Titeflex. He had a passion for animals and also enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. George also spent time at Weirs beach with his wife Janice.

George is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Janice (Yuill) Bousquet ; 2 sons, George Bousquet Jr. and Scott Bousquet; 3 step-children and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents George is predeceased by 2 brothers, Roland Bousquet and Albert Bousquet Jr.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00pm at St. Andre Besste Parish Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave, Laconia NH.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society P.O Box 572 Laconia, NH 03247.
