Fairhaven - Hilda J.(Madeira) Teixeira, aged 90 years, passed away September 15, 2005, at Our Lady’s Haven. She was the wife of the late Manuel Teixeira. Survivors include; 2 Sons; Eduardo Teixeira and his wife Rosa of No. Dartmouth and Jose Teixeira and his wife Maria of Raynham and a Daughter Filomena Pacheco and her Husband Henry of No.Dartmouth, 6 Grandchildren: Natalie Maria Costa, John and Joey Teixeira, Brian Gregory Pacheco, Stephanie and Sonya Teixeira and 4 Great-Grandchildren. She was the sister of Maria Branquinho of Georgetown, Canada and Adelaide Matos of Toronto, Canada and the late Jose Madeira.
Mrs. Duarte was born in St.Michael the Azores and came to this area in August of 1973. She was a Daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Cabral) Madeira . Mrs. Teixeira was a housewife.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 19, 2005 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 9 P.M., on Sunday September 18, 2005 at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
