Jeannette E. (DeVarenne) Milliken, 79, of Hudson passed away on Sunday, April 30. She was born on May 8th 1937 in Waltham MA, the daughter of the late Stanley and Emma (Cormier) DeVarenne. She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Milliken.
She leaves four children Robert A. Jr. and his wife Laura (Hoots) of Hampton, NH; Michael Milliken and his wife Marybeth (Igoe) of Marlborough; Debbie Milliken of Hudson and Mark Milliken and his wife Cathleen (Lenihan) of Worcester. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Kendra, Sara, Sean, Chad, Ryan, Alysha, Ashley and Robert III and one great grandson Jacob. She leaves her sister Diane Melanson of Sudbury, her brother Stan DeVarenne of Mississippi as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Parish in Hudson. She worked for several years as a cashier at the local Purity Supreme Supermarket.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 4th from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson. Funeral services for Jeannette will be held from the funeral home on Friday, May 5th at 9AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St, Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
