Obituary

Hudson, MA

Edward Longshaw (Tiny) passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home at Peters Grove in Hudson.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Emma (Lawton) Longshaw, Jr. He is survived by his brother James Emison Longshaw of Brandon, FL; his sister Betsy Davis of Fall River, MA and his brother in law Kay Longshaw of Phoenix, AZ as well as several nieces.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Longshaw Jr. and Hebert Longshaw. He was an uncle to the late James Joseph Odell of Phoenix, AZ.

Ed (Tiny) was born in Fall River and spent a lot of time traveling back there from his home in Hudson. He held many jobs, he worked on the tug boats on the Taunton River and was retired from the Massachusetts State Highway Division where he worked as a welder. Ed (Tiny) was also a proud United States Marine with the 2nd Marine Division where he rose to the rank of Corporal.

Tiny was a traveler of the back roads and Main streets of New England and was always quick with a story or directions to just about anywhere you wanted to go. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him well. A small memorial service will be held at the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA on Wednesday May 3rd from 3-7P.M.
