James N. Mastro, 51, of Kailua, Hawaii, formerly of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25th in Hawaii.
He was the son of Domenic Mastro of Norwood and the late Jeanne (Cadorette) Showstead.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, James was a “Jack of All Trades”, having worked in various fields and learned many trades. An award winning pool player, he competed within various local leagues. He was loved by all who knew him and was the kind of person that could walk into a room of strangers and leave with a room full of friends.
Besides his father, James is survived by his children, Melanie Mastro of Fall River and Alex Mastro of Fall River; siblings, Donna J. Bachmann and her husband Bruce of Dedham, Jeremy Mastro and his wife Carolann of Rye, NH, Anthony Mastro of Simpsonville, SC and Matthew Mastro of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 16th from 5-8pm at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway. Burial will be private
