Harry T. Clifford, Sr., 69 of Blackstone died Tuesday April 18, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the loving husband of the late Carolyn (Berube) Clifford who passed away in 2005.
Born in Worcester he was a son of the late Leon and Marion (Carter) Clifford. He was raised in Worcester and resided in Milford and Blackstone.
Mr. Clifford served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
He was employed as a machinist. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by a son Harry T. Clifford, Jr. and his wife, Ana Melo, of Texas and a step-son Donald Clifford of South Carolina. His grandchildren Breana, Nicole, Darrelle, Derek and Dean Clifford. He was the brother of Leon Clifford, Jr. of FL, Raymond Clifford of Webster, MA, Phyllis Priest of RI, Edna Priest of FL, Lorraine Mink of RI and Pamela Carlisle of Lunenburg, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
His committal service and burial with military honors will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Connery Ave., Bourne, MA. 02532. Visiting hours are omitted.
