Parks, Laura (Barnes), age 86, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 27th. Born July 24th, 1930 in Fremont, NH to the late Perry and Helen (Day) Barnes. Graduate of the Elliott Hospital School of Nursing, with a lifelong career in nursing. Beloved wife of 31 years, of the late Everett F. Devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Milton and member of the Women’s Society of East Congregational of Milton. Devoted mother of Dawn Walker & her husband Paul of Miamisburg, OH, Gail Ela, RN & her husband Russell of Concord, NH, Lisa Thorne & her husband Jim F. of Milton and Bruce Parks & his wife Sandi of Braintree. Dear sister of the late Perry A. Barnes, (Ret. Lt. Col. U.S. Army) of VA and the late Dorothy Clement (RN) of NH. Also survived by 11 cherished grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday, May 2nd, 4 to 8 in the evening. Funeral Service will be lead by Reverend William C.
