Myrtle Ruth Gelineau, 94, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, she graduated from Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing and pursued a career working in the hospital nursery.
She married Albert Gelineau in 1945 and resided in Massachusetts until their relocation to Mesa, Arizona in 1975.
A resident of Leisure World until 2004, she was active in Little Theater, ceramics, art, lapidary and started the Penny Poker Club, acting as an officer in some of these organizations. She moved to Friendship Village in 2004 and resided there , again active in Red Hat, poker clubs and Out-to-Lunch Bunch, until her death.
Always upbeat, she was friend to all, ready with a smile and hug. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Byrd of Castle Pines, Colorado, and her son, Brian Gelineau of Williamsburg, Virginia, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Albert Gelineau and her second husband of 9 years, Louis Hradesky.
A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:30 AM in St. Louis Church, 14 Lake St., Webster.
Burial will be Private.
