Timothy J. Noyer, 45, of New Bedford died September 12, 2005 at Massachusetts General Hospital of heart failure.
Born in Middleboro, the son of Joan M. (Hickey) Noyer of Mattapoisett and the late Robert F. Noyer, Sr., he lived in Mattapoisett and New Bedford for most of his life.
He was employed by Fox Enterprises as a laborer until he was disabled due to injury.
Mr. Noyer served in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 1982 assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry, serving in Panama, Australia and Korea. He was the recipient of the Air Assault badge, Army service ribbon and Good Conduct medal.
He enjoyed animals.
Survivors include his mother; 3 brothers, Robert F. Noyer, Jr., and his wife Pamela, of Mattapoisett, Stephen C. Noyer, and his wife Michelle, of Newbury, NH, and Peter R. Noyer, and his wife Bozena, of Putnam Valley, NY; a sister, Mary F. Magee, and her husband Paul, of Mattapoisett; his close companion, Joan Comstock of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass in St. Anthony's Church, Mattapoisett, Saturday, September 24th at 10 AM. Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery will full military honors will be private.
