Paul J. Venuti passed away at Care One of Lexington after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Edmund and Jeanne (Dello Russo) Venuti.
Paul served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was an avid runner and ran five Boston Marathons. For several years, he worked for the City of Medford in the Parks Depatment. He was a good and decent man who cared very much for those he loved.
The devoted father of Paul J. Venuti Jr. of Medford, Salvatore Venuti and his fiancé Rosina of Medford, GinaMarie Collins of Tewksbury, and John Collins of Merrimack, NH. He was a loving grandfather of Makayla Jeanne Venuti. Paul is also survived survived by his aunt Nina Harrison and cousins Marlene English, Eddie Boback and his wife Joanne and many more extended family members.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, April 27th, at 2 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
