John F. Coelho 82, of Franklin, died peacefully, Friday April 21, 2017 at Franklin Health and Rehabilitation Center, following an illness.
Born September 24, 1934 in Taunton, a son of the late John and Laurentina (Servia) Coelho, he was a former longtime resident of Millis and Norfolk before moving to Franklin 2 years ago.
He was raised and educated in Taunton, and worked as a laborer at a poultry farm in Millis.
He was a simple man who enjoyed watching all the Boston sports teams, trips to the casino, and was an avid reader. He also cared for all animals, especially birds and cats.
He is survived by his nieces, nephews and many friends.
John was the brother of the late Laurentina McDonald.
His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
