TURBRIDGE/LEICESTER: Joslyn Antanavica 11, of 25 Library Lane So., died Saturday, April 22 at home following a long illness. She leaves her parents, Michael and Roberta (Welch) Antanavica, her brothers Garrett Antanavica and his wife Elizabeth of Reading, and Quinn Antanavica at home., her sisters Marci Prockett and her husband David of Hudson, Immaculata and Jenny Antanavica both at home, her paternal grandparents Theodore and Judith Antanavica of Leicester. She is predeceased by her brother Shamal Antanavica Barr, her sister Tynisha Antanavica and her maternal grandparents Robert and Theresa Welch.
She was born in in Wareham and moved to her adoptive home with the Antanavica's on July 17, 2008.
Joslyn attended Burgess Elementary School in Sturbridge, and previously attended Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative and The Perkins School for the Blind. She was a member of St. Anne-St. Patrick Parish. She loved the sunshine, sitting under a tree and being cuddled.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Anne-St. Patrick Church, 16 Church St., Fiskdale. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the church.
