Mary Eileen Scannell Caringola, 74, of Ashburn passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private service and burial will be held for Mrs. Caringola at a later date.
Born August 26, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Caringola was the daughter of the late William L. Scannell and Catherine Curtain Scannell. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald J. Caringola; a brother, William Scannell; and two sisters, Rita Scannell and Cathlene Scannell. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She loved her children and watching television. She had lived in Ashburn for the past six years.
Mrs. Caringola is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Edward Caringola of Ashburn; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony Caringola of Ashburn and Ryan and Kristin Caringola of Albany; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathlene and Ray Warick of Somerset, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, Michael Wingard and Jennifer Wingard.
