Westport – Amanda Lee Tripp, 17, of Westport died Friday, September 9, 2005 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of Gary A. Tripp of Westport and Tracy A. (Manchester) Tripp of Westport and stepdaughter of Dawn M. Tripp of Westport and Brian W. Smith of Westport, and had been a lifelong resident of Westport. She was a junior at Westport High School. Miss Tripp had attended the Westport United Congregational Church for many years and most recently attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God, Westport.
Including her parents and step parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents: Harold F. Tripp, Sr. and Norma C. (Vaughan) Tripp of Westport; maternal grandparents: Sheila A. Harris of Westport and Ronald C. Manchester of Chepatchet, RI; maternal great grandmother: Alice Medeiros of Westport; 3 sisters: Brittany Tripp, Hayley Tripp and Darcey Prenda; 3 brothers: Brian W. Smith, Jr., Robert Prenda and Joshua Prenda; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport at 9:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday 4 – 8 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
