John K. “Tall John” Goodhue, 77, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, April 11th in UMass Memorial Medical Center. He leaves a son, Ian K. Goodhue and his fiancée Chelsea Mondor of Auburn; a daughter, Gillian B. Goodhue of Sarasota, FL; three brothers, Lawrence Goodhue of CA, Jeffrey Goodhue and his wife Cele of FL, and Raymond “Kirk” Goodhue and his wife Melinda Titus of Portland, ME; a grandson, Eli Mondor-Goodhue of Auburn; his former wife, Denise I. Berry of Sarasota, FL; and a niece, Sara Goodhue of France.
He was born in Boothbay Harbor, ME, the son of Raymond K. and Janet B. (Dunbar) Goodhue and was a graduate of Miami of Ohio University. Mr. Goodhue was a teacher for many years and was also a real estate broker.
Funeral services will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 300 Barber Avenue, Worcester, MA 01606. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is assisting with arrangements.
