Obituary

Rosina (Yoder) Clifford, 86, of Anderson died April 11, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis after a brief illness.

She was born March 16, 1931 in Hubbard, Oregon, the daughter of William A. and Bessie (Oswald) Yoder.

She helped in her husband's law office from 1978 to 1993 as a legal secretary. She wrote poetry, and was an avid history reader.

She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her five children, Jenny (Tim) Holihen of Fishers, Jon (Juan) Clifford of Indianapolis, Mary Lewis of Bloomington, Amy (Sam) Wilson of Rio Grande, OH; Annie Ackerman of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Katie Holihen, Mary Holihen, Grace Holihen, Bill Lewis and James Wilson; sister, Pearl Bacon of Redmond, OR, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Judge William Clifford, three brothers, Vance Yoder, Zane Yoder and Gerald Yoder and her son-in-law, Jeremy Ackerman.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 20 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Daniel Shine officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
