Mr. Richard F. Almeida of Medford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2017. He was 28 years old.
Born in Cambridge on November 2, 1988, he was the beloved son of Celio Almeida of Somerville and the late Karen C. (Stowers) Almeida. Richard grew up in Medford and loved riding his skateboard. He always put his family first and had a big heart. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his father, Celio, he is survived by his loving brother; Kevin S. Almeida of Everett, god-mother; Marie Lagambina of Stoneham, cousins; Dom, Arianna and Nicholas Lagambina, all of Stoneham and several other cousins.
His memorial service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 9 to 10 AM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
