Harney, Stella P. (Kazlauskas), age 98, of Milton, April 7, 2017. Mrs. Harney was born in Cambridge and grew up in South Boston. She was a graduate of South Boston High School. Prior to her marriage she worked as a Nursing Assistant at Mattapan State Hospital and later worked at The Schrafft Candy Co. in Charlestown. Mrs. Harney was kind and caring and a loving and supportive wife and mother. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Harney and devoted mother of David J. Harney of Milton and Diane Benson & her husband William of Waldeboro, MA. She is also survived by her 2 cherished grand-daughters and 4 great grandchildren.. She was a dear family friend of Elizabeth Pohl of Weymouth, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Thursday morning, April 20, 2017 at 10:30. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM. She will be buried in Milton Cemetery.
