Julien, Daniel Carl, age 22 of Needham, formerly of West Roxbury, April 8, 2017 from complications of Ataxia Telangiectasia at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Cherished son of Karen (Kelly) and Mark. Beloved big brother to Peter and Stephanie both of Needham. Adored grandson of Mary Ann Kelly of West Roxbury and the late Daniel J. Kelly and Catherine and Carl Julien. Treasured godson of Debra Kelly of West Roxbury and John Julien of South Bend, Indiana. Loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was an amazing friend to many and proud member of the Needham High School, class of 2013. He loved spending time with friends and family, watching Boston sports and participating in his horseback riding program. He also enthusiastically joined other young adults with disabilities in giving back to his community through the EPIC Service Warrior program. In his short time with us, he had an immeasurable impact on others and his faith and zest for life were an inspiration to all.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Dan during visiting hours on Tuesday, April 11 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 12 at St. Joseph’s Church, 1382 Highland Ave, in Needham. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
