In Wakefield, RI, April 6, 2017 David Gerald Dutra, Age 82, passed away in his home while surrounded by his loving family. David is survived by his loving wife Holly (Hagar) Dutra. He was born in Dighton, MA, the son of the late Francis & Mary (Rose) Dutra. David had resided in Wakefield, RI since 2004 and was formerly of Dighton. David was educated in Dighton schools. He served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force. David was employed as a printer for the former Mansfield Press Company. He enjoyed going to the beach, playing pool, sports and above all cherished the time spent with his family. In addition to his wife Holly, David leaves his children, Dana Dutra and daughter in law Tina of Berkley, David A. Dutra and daughter in law Marly of Taunton, Tracy Slavin and son in law Daniel of East Taunton and Leanne Wood and her fiancée Larry Panten of Berkley. David also leaves his siblings, James Dutra of Dighton and Lawrence Dutra of Taunton. He also leaves his beloved 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services are private at the request of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
