Georgie A. (Manchester) Bodington, 94, of Little Compton, RI died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was wife of the late Alfred H. Bodington.
Born in Little Compton, daughter of the late Albert F. and Lillian B. (Wimer) Manchester, she was a lifelong resident of Little Compton. An avid reader, she also enjoyed country music, but most of all she was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include 2 grandsons: Charles A. Davenport and his wife Crystal D. Rogers of Pasadena, CA and Richard W. Sullivan III and his wife Christine L. Medeiros of Little Compton; and 2 great grandsons: Aidan Davenport and Wyatt Sullivan.
She was mother of the late Deborah Bodington.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
