Catherine A. “Kay” (Findlay) Lavallee passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 at the Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center in the North End, surrounded by family and her loving daughter Kim. She was 74 years of age.
Kay was born in Boston on November 3, 1942, a daughter of the late Reginald Findlay and Mary (Devlin) Findlay. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School System.
Kay is the loving companion of the late Walter C. Landry. She is the devoted mother of Kim Landry and her Husband Jason MacDonald, Lisa Lavallee, and Paul Lavallee. She is the loving Nana New to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of Joanne Findlay, James Findlay and his wife Loretta, and the late Mary Leonard, Bernice "Bunny" Marsh, Robert Findlay, and Bernard Findlay. She is also the loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date and time.
