John Wayne Walston, 57, of Macon passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Porterfield Health and Rehab in Macon. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Walston at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Rickey Wells will officiate.
Born January 15, 1960 in Tift County, Mr. Walston was the son of the late Bill Walston and Juanita Hobby Walston. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Hazel A. Tucker. He had lived in Baldwin County most of his life.
Mr. Walston is survived by a sister, Vollie E. Anders of Louisiana; and his nephews and their wives, Brian and Beverly Tucker of Lizella, Jerome W. and Brenda Tucker of Macon and J. R. and Mary Anne Tucker of Byron.
