Joseph F. Forlizzi, Jr. 52, of Brockton, formerly of Whitman, died Thursday March 27, 2017.
He was the son of the late Joseph F. Forlizzi, Sr. and Christine (Hughes) Forlizzi Ruley; and the brother of the late James F. Forlizzi.
Joe was a 1982 graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, and was a framer by trade.
He love to fish; as well explore the outdoors with his children and granddaughter. He also loved weekly card games with his mom and cousins.
In addition to his mother Christine of Whitman, Joe is survived by his daughter Melanie L. Forlizzi of Brockton, his son Joseph F. Forlizzi, III of Whitman, and his granddaughter Adrienne, as well as his nieces and nephew, an aunt, uncle and several cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at 9:00 am Monday, April 10, 2017 in the Holy Ghost Church, 518 Washington St., Whitman, MA. There will be a coffee hour to greet the family directly following at the church in the Father Glennon Hall. A private burial will be held at a later date.
