Joyce Reynolds, 62, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. David Biggers and the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Miss Reynolds was born November 5, 1954 in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Harold C. & Odelle Roberts Reynolds. She was a 1973 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. She was an avid Purple Hurricane fan and recorded the games on cassette tape in the late 90s when her nephews played. She also enjoyed supporting the Atlanta Braves. Joyce was a former member of Callie Garbutt Baptist Church where she used her God-given talents to keep children in the nursery. She was a member of Christian Fellowship.
She is survived by her siblings, Dianne Reynolds McDonald & Lamar of Fitzgerald, Lamar Reynolds & Angie of Fitzgerald, and Gail Reynolds of Fitzgerald; nieces and nephews: Jason & Lori McDonald, Jennifer & Billy Mix, Justin & Carley McDonald, Josh & Christi McDonald, Jamie Paulk, LeAnne & Joey Wade, Lee & Rhonda Reynolds, and Rebecca Reynolds as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
