Philip M. Thomas
Manchester– Philip M. Thomas, 64, died April 4, 2017 at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by loving family following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Daytona Beach, FL. on April 6, 1952 the son Doris C. (Noury) Thomas and Maurice Thibaudeau.
Family was everything to Philip. He was a father figure for his younger siblings, he took care of them and their mother.
He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School class of 1971.
For over 20 years he managed several Mobil stations throughout Manchester and was also a mechanic at Sears.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and birds. He was a people person who always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone.
Family members include two brothers, David J. Thomas and his wife, Annie of Seattle, WA., Peter J. Thomas of Manchester, three sisters, Diane C. Gagnon and her husband Marc of Bedford, Patricia J. Abdelkarim, Pamela J. Letendre and her husband Michael, all of Manchester. He also leaves six nieces and nephews, Samantha, Amber, Noah, Tarek, Ethan and Roman. He also leaves a step father John Thomas.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 1 to 3 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A prayer service will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
