Eugene G. Tellier 78, of Poinsettia Dr. Largo, FL died February 26, 2017 at home. He was the husband of Elaine (Verzina) Enright Tellier. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Eugene and Vida (Desrosiers) Tellier. Gene was a US Navy Veteran. He was the owner and operator of Tellier’s Plumbing for over thirty years. Gene was a member of the Woonsocket Lodge of Elks, the IWC and the American Legion.
Besides his wife he leaves four children, David and Richard Tellier both of FL, Cheryl Stewart and Debra Gatz both of NC, two step-daughters, Karen Santos of N. Smithfield, and Cheryl Enright of Wakefield, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings Raymond and Patricia Tellier. Gene also had several step-brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
