D. Mark Stinson, M.D., 59, Anderson, and Lake Wawasee, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2017.
He was born May 16, 1957 to Dr. William and Betty Stinson.
He graduated from Anderson High School in 1975 and Indiana University School of Medicine in 1983. He joined his father in the practice of Family medicine from 1986 until his retirement in 2014.
Throughout his life, Mark was deeply committed to his family, many friends, patients and colleagues in the Anderson community and since early childhood enjoyed every possible moment at his beloved Lake Wawasee.
Mark is survived by his parents: Dr. William and Betty Stinson, Anderson; wife of 33 years: Andrea (Griffith), his sons: Wesley, St. Joe, Mich., and Alex, Anderson; and a sister: Peg (David Poulos), Chapel Hill, N. C.
A funeral mass will be on Monday, April 10 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with con-celebrants Msgr. Robert L. Sell and Father Daniel Shine officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 9 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church; Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation (W.A.C.F.) or the charity of the donor's choice.
