WORCESTER____Karel Zibrid, 81, of Worcester died peacefully with family by his side at home on Monday April 3, 2017.
He leaves his wife Sabina (Wasilewska) Zibrid, his children, Hana Bollou, Andrew Burakiewicz and Ivona Wisniewski, 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Prague, Czech Republic a son of the late Karel and Miroslawa (Novak) Zibrid and immigrated from the Czech Republic to Worcester 50 years ago.
Mr. Zibird was an engineer many years for Lindquist Tool Co. and retired several years ago.
The funeral will be held on Friday April 7, 2017 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday April 6, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
