Rosia Akridge Herring, 87, entered into rest on Monday, April 3, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Raborn officiating.
Mrs. Herring loved her Lord and enjoyed attending church. She also loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Herring is survived by her sons, Billy Akridge (Wanda), Bobby Akridge (Wanda), and Roy Akridge (Cathy); her daughter, Ruby Heistand; her brother, Rudy Poole; her sisters, Christeen Brown, and Mary Roberts; her many grand and great-grandchildren; and also her great-great grandchild. Mrs. Herring was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Herring; her first husband, Benjamin Akridge; her daughter, Carolyn Paul; and her brother, Willie D. Poole.
Mr. Trey Akridge will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, April 6, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
