Bruce Blake passed away, March 27, 2017 in Palm Harbor FL. He was 78 years old. Born in Taunton the son of the late Alton and Evelyn (Wilson) Blake. He was the brother of the late Patricia O’Connell and the late Virginia Kazemekas. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Kelly) Blake of forty years. Father of Jeffrey Blake and his wife Margaret, Scott Blake and his wife Jean, Kelly Aronson and her husband Robert, Kimberly Ramalho, Paul Pagnini and his partner Joseph Langer and Jeffrey Pagnini and his wife Donna. He also was the father of the late Bruce Blake Jr. He was the grandfather of Ryan and Meghan Blake, David and Michael Aronson, Christopher Ramalho and Gabriella and Harrison Pagnini. He also is survived by several nieces, nephews and a grandniece. Bruce served in the US Marines after graduating from high school. Bruce was retired from the City of Taunton working for the Taunton Housing Authority. He was active with the Taunton West Little League serving as president for many years. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Friday from 3-5 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
