83 of Fisherville, passed away Sunday April 2nd, 2017. He was a lineman for General Electric. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Kattie Huckleberry, two brothers, Jack Huckleberry and Milton Huckleberry, Jr., two sisters, Anna Jones and Mable Shelburn. He is survived by his wife Shirley Huckleberry, four daughters, Laurie Mills (Scott), Debbie Humphrey (Punky), Kathy Sanders (Tony) and Connie Carfield (Jimbo), one son, John Huckleberry, Jr., nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, one brother, Bill Huckleberry and numerous nieces amd nephews. Visitation will be Thursday April 6th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus.
