Norma Jean (Brown) Browning, 89, of Anderson died April 3, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Muncie after an extended illness.
She was born December 28, 1927 in Anderson the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Ashby) Brown. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickey (Steve) Brown, four grandchildren, Jenny Vanmatre, Tracy Pettigrew, Shawna Hill, Joshua Harris; four great grandkids, Zach, Troy, Wes and Carrie; four great great grandkids, D.J., Jaxson, Maycee, Tinleigh and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Browning; daughter, Pamela Smith; two sisters, Evelyn Barrett and Frances Myers, brother, Norman Brown.
Private family service will take place at a later date. Burial of cremated remains will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
