Charles N. Lindsey, 65, of Bellingham, died Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.
Born in Ripley, Mississippi on June 21, 1951, he was the son of the late William C. and Bonnie J. (Murry) Lindsey.
Charles grew up in Milford, graduated from Milford High School in 1970 and resided there until moving to Bellingham in 1981.
He proudly served in the Army for 3 years during the Vietnam War.
Charles worked in maintenance for most of his life and retired from Market Basket in Bellingham where he worked for 14 years and was a member of Local Union 170.
Charles was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed camping.
He is survived by a son Joshua Lindsey and his wife Theresa of Milford, a daughter Neile Lindsey of Woonsocket and two grandchildren, Jace and Jaxen Lindsey.
He is also survived by his brother Billy Lindsey and his wife Bonnie of Bellingham, two sisters, Cheryl Koshivas and her husband John of Franklin and Marsha Lindsey of Seminole, FL, many nieces and nephews, and his former wife Tracy (Jionzo) Lindsey of Woonsocket.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, April 7 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) followed by a funeral service at 1p.m.
