Marion Norman Heath, 85, of Tifton passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Legacy Village in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Dr. Fred Evers officiating. Mrs. Heath will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 4, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Jarrod Heath, Tyrone Dean, Lawton Bassett, Richie Tucker, Marty Miller and Woody Driggers will serve as pallbearers.
Born January 9, 1932 in Moultrie, Mrs. Heath was the daughter of the late John T. Norman, Sr. and Minnie Norvella Norman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Heath, who died in August 2016; one daughter, Susan Heath Driggers; four brothers, Turner “Bill” Norman, Louis Norman, John “Junior” T. Norman Jr. and Eugene Norman; and two sisters, Louise Norman Sumner and Virginia Zerhusen Champion. She was co-owner of Norman’s Bridal and Gift Shop, along with her sisters, Louise Sumner and Virginia Zerhusen Champion and a member of Northside Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Heath is survived by two sons, William Scott Heath and wife, Andrea Brooks Heath and Ronald Eugene Heath and Betty Lankford Heath, all of Tifton; four grandchildren, Zoe Heath Dean and husband, Tyrone Dean of Tifton, Skylar Heath of Aurora, Colorado, William D. Driggers, Jr. of Savannah and Jarrod Heath of Tifton; and two great-grandchildren, Charlotte Dean and Norah Kate Dean.
