Maria A. (DeFaria) Costa, 80, of Westport, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at home. She was the wife of Antonio DaCosta.
Mrs. Costa was born in Azores, Portugal, daughter of the late Jose P. and Ana A. (DeVargas) DeFaria and had been a longtime resident of Westport. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors along with her husband include her daughter: Maria F. Kirby and her husband Mark of Westport; 6 brothers; 6 sisters; 4 grandsons: Derek, David, Brandon and Jordan; 2 great grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M.
Funeral services will be private.
