Holden—Edith A. (Hautaniemi) Maki, 82, formerly of Holden, died Monday, September 5, 2005, in Michigan. Her husband of 52 years, Arvo J. Maki, died in 1998. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, David J. and Catherine Maki, with whom she lived and 2 grandchildren, Alyson and Stefan. She was predeceased by a brother and 2 sisters, Uno Hautaniemi, Lillian Hattula, and Linnea Manus. Edith was in Worcester, a daughter of Antti and Anna (Syrjala) Hautaniemi. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
