Catherine R (Murphy) Gross age 59 of Natick died unexpectedly Wednesday March 29 2017 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Scott R. Gross who died in 2015.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident she was the daughter of the late Earl J and Rita (Petrie) Murphy.
Catherine worked for over thirty years in the Facilities Management Department at Wellesley College.
She loved taking adventure travel trips, recently going to Panama and Mexico and also enjoyed spending time by the ocean.
She is survived by her siblings Donna Napoleone and her husband Peter of Madison WI, Edward Murphy and his wife Deborah of Uxbridge, Robert Murphy of Framingham, Denise Harnett of Holliston, her longtime best friend Judy Black and many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
She was also the sister of the late John W. Murphy who died in 2015.
Visiting hours are Thursday April 6 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
