Ferguson, Effie Aline (Hiser), 74, passed away March 29, 2017 in Louisville.
She was born to Perry C. and Corina (Compton) Hiser on May 13, 1942 in Metcalf Co., KY.
Effie was a Bartender for the River Girls Lounge, retiring in 2015; she enjoyed going to the Casino’s , and spending time with her granddaughter, Tabby.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ferguson; two daughters, Dawn Hiser, and Teresa Zabaloui; five brothers: John, Clifton, Otis, Sherman, and William Hiser; and three sisters: Ruth Sexton, Christine Ballard, and Blanche Ballard.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Kathy Morin (John), and Pam Francis (Ronnie); a special granddaughter, Tabby Hiser; eight grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; a god daughter, Anna Baker.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday 3:00-7:00 PM.
