Phyllis B. (Morin) Fontaine, 88, of Westport died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was wife of the late Thomas E. Brown and the late Normand Fontaine.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late George C. and Leonora (Place) Morin. Mrs. Fontaine was a former Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport and was past president of A.R.C.
Survivors include a son: Thomas E. Brown, Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Galveston, TX; 3 daughters: Anne Marie Brown Gazdik and her husband Michael of Westport, Patricia Brown Brassard and her husband Paul of Old Orchard Beach, ME and Judith Mary Brown of Fall River; step-son: Jay Fontaine and his wife Elizabeth of Portsmouth, RI; a brother: George Morin of Nazareth, PA; a sister: Eileen Lake of So. Yarmouth, MA; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late: Margaret Goslin and Marjorie Gorman.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5 - 8 P.M.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are also invited will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
