Meredith, Sr. William E. (Bill), 79, passed away on March 29, 2017.
He was a retired employee of International Harvester and Jefferson County PVA and a member of St. Helen’s Parish.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie; his parents, Goldie and Cora Meredith; and a brother, Hubert “Ray” Meredith.
Bill is survived by his two sons, William E. Meredith, Jr. (Shirley) of Plano, TX and Christopher David Meredith (Susan) of LaGrange, KY; two brothers, Don Meredith of Louisville and Mike Meredith of Lexington; and three grandchildren, George, Olivia, and Ben Meredith; along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
