FALL RIVER – Laura (Michael) Fedele, age 92 of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Antonio & Deolinda (Silvia) Miguel. Prior to retiring, Laura worked for the former Fall River Gas Co. and had previously worked in the family business at Michael’s Provision Co. During her retirement, Laura worked part time as a Senior Aide at the Bank Street Armory and as a Foster Grandparent for the Greater Fall River RE-GREATION Program. She also volunteered at Clifton Nursing & Rehab. Center, and sang with the “Cliftonaires”.
Laura was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, a recipient of the Marion Medal, a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality of St. Michael’s Church, P.A.C.L., past church choir director, and a former member of the Fall River Allegro Glee Club.
She is survived by her children: Michael J. Fedele (wife Caroline) of Bristol, RI, John C. Fedele of Fall River, Denise T. DeNardo of N. Dartmouth & Joanne Alexander of Fall River; 4 grandchildren: Jocelyn Gandolfi, Marissa & Ryan Fedele, & Sarah Alexander Bonanca; 6 great grandchildren: Hannah, Raea, Giada, Mason, Kade, & Kanon; and several nieces & nephews. Laura was the sister of the late Mary Amaral & Belmira Curt.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Monday 4-6 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
