Harriet Archer, age 98, died on Tuesday May 28, 2002. She was born in Somerville on March 01, 1904 to the late Edward and Anna (Stone) Wyman. She was a resident of Coventry, R.I., formerly of Medford and Somerville. She was a graduate of Medford High school.
She was employed as an Assistant to the Registrar at Tufts University for 16 years until her retirement in 1969.
Harriet was a member of the Forever Young Club, H. Rise Club, A.M. Club, Medford Womens Club, as well as the Business and Professional Womens Club of the First Baptist Church.
She is the beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Archer. Loving mother of John W. Mills, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Warwick, R.I. Cherished grandmother of John W. Mills, III, Julie Carlson and Tod A. Mills. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Her service will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Friday, May 31st at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours have been omitted. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
