Marie S. (Castellucci) Harrison 83, of Franklin, died Friday March 24, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, in Brighton, following an illness. She was the wife of the late Robert T. Harrison, who died in 2006.
Born August 29, 1933, in Medford, a daughter of the late James and Anna D. (Galiazzo) Castellucci, she was a resident of Franklin for over 55 years.
She was raised and educated in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. Upon moving to Franklin, where she raised her children, she worked as a wallpaper hanger for most of the general contractor’s in the area.
Marie was devoted to her family, and wanted to spend all of her time with them. Her home was always the center of family gatherings, where she enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Franklin, and volunteered at the Franklin Senior Center and the recycling center.
She is survived by her children, Richard Drake and his wife Patricia of Missouri, Kenneth Drake and his wife Michele of Whitinsville, Ronald Drake of Franklin and Sharon Drake of New Sweden, Maine.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Joseph & Thomas Castellucci.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thurs. March 30th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
