Corene K. (Kachelein) Foust, 66, of Anderson died, March 25, 2017 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Corene was born August 23, 1950 in Fort Wayne the daughter of George and Evelyn Mae (Bohannon) Kachelein. She graduated from Anderson College where she worked, retiring in 2013 from Anderson University after 30 years of employment.
She was Honored Queen for Jobs Daughters. She loved to read, do cross stitch and scrapbook. She was past Lay Leader Emmaus. She loved riding horses, riding her motorcycle and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Kurt Foust of Anderson whom she married October 21, 1978 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Anderson; children, Gregg (Myra) Foust and Katy (Bryon) Austin; mother, Evelyn Mae Kachelein; two sisters, Cynthia K. Selzer and Catherine (Ron) MetCalfe; 19 nieces and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews and several Carnival Cruise friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, sister, Christine Oaks; mother-in-law, Sheila Taylor Foust.
Service will be 6 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Don Billey officiating.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
